The founders of Tootsies Private Day Nursery, Renée and Karen saw an opening in the childcare sector following the births of their own children. When they knew they were pregnant they began to look at the nursery facilities within the Farnham area for their children, Samuel and Finley. It was not long before they discovered that there was not a wide choice available and within that limited choice places were at a premium. In order to have even a remote chance of a place you had to register your children on long waiting lists.

Having met at parent class and become friends with other expectant mothers, it soon became apparent that they were not the only ones facing the same dilemma, and so Tootsies was conceived!
