Our outdoor facilities have been designed to allow children of all ages to access our extensive outdoor area.

All of the equipment including slides, bikes, climbing “A” Frame and agility set have been chosen to encourage children to play, develop their minds and learn about their physical abilities.

Little Tootsies at Weydon Lane and coming soon to Heath End has a specifically designed enclosed secure area laid to a soft play surface. Incorporating age recommended play equipment, sand and water, play unit, slides, playhouse, rockers, walkers and ride on trucks.

Another area of the garden is laid to bark and is used for large equipment such as an “A” frame, balancing beam, stepping stones and a Pirate Ship. In both nurseries there are large covered sand pits for the children to dig in and make castles. The children are able to enjoy this equipment under supervision and with the help of staff.

Large open areas allow children to enjoy extensive play including running games, bike riding, ball activities, parachute, water or sand play.

There are benches which make an ideal area for reading and snack time outside. It is an ideal area to learn new songs and chat about the days activities. Incorporated in this the children enjoy planting vegetables, herbs and flowers in both large containers and individual pots. The children all enjoy caring for and watching their plants grow and develop.

The garden area is a very important part of stimulated play and it is great to see that it is used regularly"
